Dog Rules
The Grinding Barn and Embers Barn are both dog friendly - 2 well behaved dogs are allowed at each property at a charge of £50 per pet. Please make sure you have read these dog rules before adding your pets to your booking:
- Please do not allow dogs on the furniture or in any of the bedrooms.
- Dogs are not allowed upstairs in The Grinding Barn or in the downstairs bedrooms.
- Dogs are not allowed in the hot tub.
- Please do not leave your pets unattended in the property at any time.
- Ideally, your dogs will sleep in a crate at night; if this really isn’t possible please follow our guidelines as to where the dog should sleep.
- Please do not allow wet or muddy dogs in the house. There is an outside hosepipe for you to wash your dogs with – please wash them thoroughly and then dry them with a towel that you have brought with you.
- Please do not leave dogs unsupervised in the garden, even if the garden is secure. We ask this to prevent any damage from digging, scratching at doors to be let in, etc., and so that dogs are not left outside barking.
- If there is any damage caused by your pet please let us know as soon as possible, no matter how small.
- Please check the garden regularly throughout your stay and make sure all dog mess is picked up. It’s very important that this is done just before you leave the property at the end of your holiday.
- Be aware that surrounding grounds and farmland may contain livestock. Please make sure that dogs are kept on leads and are fully supervised at all times.
